Another VERY successful Kootenay Cup this year with over 300 racers participating. Lots of kids and adults skiing with big smiles on their faces. The kids always make this a fantastic event. Kootenay Cup Stadium Map for Sunday Distance Races.
The Kootenay Cup is this weekend with races both Saturday and Sunday. 200 hundred plus racers are registered to race Sprint Races on Saturday and Distance Races on Sunday. Kimberley Nordic trails are still 90% open for recreational skiers. Day-Use skiers are being asked to ski out Meadow or Spruce trails to access the rest of the recreational trails. Kootenay Cup Race Notice and Volunteers Needed, Jan. 12-13th.
The Kimberley Nordic Club's major event of the year is coming up fast! This race weekend attracts racers from all or the East Kootenay Valley and beyond. Last year over 200 racers put their skiing to the test here at Kimberley Nordic. The Teck Kootenay Cup Races #5 & #6 will be held on January 12th and 13th.
