Saturday Update...Doesn't Get Much Better Than This...Heavenly.

Oops that should say January 5th...

It is a stunning sunny ..ideal "spring skiing" weather day up here !

At -4 degrees , crystal clear skies and fresh grooming it couldn't be better.

Please carpool if your coming up with friends as parking will be at a premium yet again today.

Keep in mind that Sunday afternoons from 1 to 3 is also our Jackrabbit lessons day/time.

The Moose and a calf have been sharing our trails the last few days again so please be respectful and steer clear if you spot them.

You might have noticed a few KM marking signs which are going up in readiness for next weekends Kootenay Cup Races being held on the 12th /13th. of January.

Whereas the stadium and northern race routes will be closed for the racers and spectators, the rest of the trails and all of the south end loops will all be open for our visitors, members and recreational skier's to enjoy. There will be a designated out run spruce/ meadow way to Ikers to access recreational trails on both race days.

Note : there is no overnight parking in our lot and on the morning of Thursday the 10th the lot will be closed for clearing from 5am to approx 8am.
