Hello Kimberley Nordic Club Members, As we anxiously await more snow, the KNC has been busy preparing the trails and lodge for the season. One of our projects this year will be to properly name some of our new trails. We asked for feedback last year, but will be formalizing things this year. To this end, we have started an on-line survey to allow you to give us some suggestions for names for our new trails. This on-line survey will be open until the end of the December, 2018.

Winter is coming like it does every year...and we are just on the verge. Small amounts of snow have come to Kimberley Nordic twice now and the snow machine has been out and been rolling the snow to start to create a base for the season. Kimberley Nordic is known for early snow and most years we get snow earlier than most places in the all of the East Kootenay. Last year we got lucky and had skiable snow by November 4th. Just a reminder that dry land training is now on every Saturday - 9:30am till 11am at Kimberley Nordic. Bring poles, cross country are best but alpine will do. Gloves are good to bring too. Looking forward to it! Drop-in fee $5. Please also bring proof of KNC membership (last season or this season). Come prepared to get your lunge on!
