News from the Club Executive.

Greetings from your Executive!

Hoping you have had a great summer.

Our thoughts are moving towards preparations for our next ski season which is just around the corner so with that in mind we would like to inform you that:

1) Our AGM will be held Wednesday October 16 starting at 7 pm. Please mark your calendar. Kimberley Nordic is a growing and thriving club, lots of new things happening. Regular club business will be attended to, approving changes to the board etc, news updates for the coming season will be given too, including a history of the club by Tony Hetu. You will also have an opportunity to hear about activities of the City of Kimberley regarding their fire mitigation plan on the land including our trails.

2) We are holding a Volunteer Work Party Saturday Sept. 28 starting at 9:30 am. with a plan to re-insulate, attach vapour barrier and move stuff back in to our Maintenance Shed. We do not require lots of people, possibly 10, with some folks comfortable climbing up on scaffolding. If you are available and feel you have relevant skills, please contact Derm or Susanne Kennedy at d.s.kennedy@telus.net.

3) Memberships will be going on sale soon.... please keep checking our website for details...and as always keep your fingers crossed for lots of snow this winter.
