Junior Racers

Kimberley Junior Racers

The Junior Racer program is designed for youth in the U14 to U20 Categories. Younger athletes participate in a 7-month program (September-March), but are encouraged to join in some fun team activities with the older athletes during the summer. Older athletes participate in an 11-month program from May-March. Athletes are encouraged to train year-round in a variety of activities. They will be provided with individualized yearly training plans (YTPs) to help guide them through the year. The YTPs factor in other sports during dryland season to maintain balance and encourage cross training outside of ski season.

7-Month Registration (Sept-Apr): This option is for athletes in the U14 and U16 age categories. Regular registration includes

training as a group several times a week from September until April. During the winter months, the Junior Racers train

together during the week and have the opportunity to travel as a team to competitions across the region, province, and country.

Cost: $700

11-Month Registration (May-Aug): This option is for athletes in the

U18 and U20 categories. The additional summer upgrade includes

summer training, testing, and camps, as well as a Yearly Training

Plan which is uploaded weekly and created specifically for each

athlete. These skiers are closely monitored through multiple

modalities and are also given periodized strength plans for the

whole year.

Cost: $950
