Busy Weekend Ahead for Kimberley Nordic, Recreational Trails are still OPEN Both Days.

This is one of the busiest weekends for Kimberley Nordic because we are hosting the Annual Kootenay Cup Races and over two hundred racers are coming from around British Columbia and Alberta. The races are starting at 11:00am on Saturday and 9:30am on Sunday.

The recreational trials are still OPEN during the races. The area in front of the lodge will be very busy and the race courses are posted on the website. They are mainly using the three kilometre loop and it's inner trails. The other trails of KNC are best accessed going up and out Spruce (not being used by racers). Please be careful on the first bridge out as there will be racers on it.

The parking lot will also be busy so additional parking can be found on Deer Run just below KNC and a path has been made up to the lodge.

It look like a great weekend ahead. Come on out and watch some of the best racers around, cheer on your KNC Racers and go for a ski too.
