Half Day Lodge Rental (Private Event)

Service Description

Rental Terms and Conditions: 1. Liability - The Renter is liable for any property damage or personal injury incurred during the use of the facility. 2. Insurance - Any event that involves sports other than cross country skiing or alcohol will require proof of event insurance with Kimberley Nordic Club named as additionally insured. 3. Permits - The renter is responsible for obtaining any permits required such as an alcohol permit or fire permit for an outdoor fire in the fire pit. 4. Smoking - There is no smoking or vaping allowed in the lodge. 5. Pets - Pets are not allowed in the lodge. 6. Decorations - No glitter, sparkles, confetti allowed. Do not use any tape, nails, or pins on the painted walls. 7. Noise - Bylaws are enforced after 11pm and guests should not create excessive noise that disturbs neighbours. 8. Key Pickup and Emergency Numbers - KNC will arrange key pickup and emergency contact phone numbers for each renter. 9. Security Deposit - The credit card you have supplied us for your reservation is kept on file for a security deposit. This is to protect us from possible damages to our property. Security charges will only be applied to your credit card if necessary and you will be notified. Renters are financially responsible for all damages and additional cleaning fees if necessary. 10. The renter agrees it is their responsibility to leave the premises as they found them. This includes, but is not limited to the following: - Clean sinks, counters, tables, and chairs. - Clean appliances such as stove and microwave. - Clean up and remove all garbage from KNC. Please be bear aware and do not leave any garbage outside. - Floors are swept, vacuumed and mopped and supplies and are returned - to the cupboard and mop is back in doorway at SE corner of the lodge. - Tile area around the wood stove is swept. - Remove all decorations. - Furniture is put back the way you found it (before you setup, take a picture to help you remember). - All lodge indoor lights are turned off. Outdoor deck lights are automatic. - All doors are locked, water faucets are turned off, appliances are off, wood stove door is firmly closed, outdoor fire pit (if used) is put out entirely.
